"What is the relationship between man and the sounds of his environment, and what happens when these sounds change? For the past ten years, Jean Sanchez has been developing a practice of plastic encounters. A deliberately pluridiciplinary approach, he seeks to extract the philosophies and sensorialities that each form of knowledge offers in relation to its environment. Inspired as much by acoustic research and biology as by philosophy and esotericism, Jean Sanchez's work strives to create bridges between inaudible forms, highlight unchanging movements, or divert the uses of perception, by questioning the discreet twists and turns hidden behind the obvious. His practice is situated in that space where sound, form, image and words come together to drink tea. inspired by the bend of a landscape howling with inaudible constellations.
